probably when i was about 10.. my god brother would always play their music and he was in high school. i loved their music but of course i had no idea what any of their songs were about.

i was watching an interview of another band i liked and they were talking about young the giant and now they’re one of my favorites! (:

i always think of riding in the car when i hear their music, because i used to make my mom listen to them with me all the time when we would ride together.
